HOW CAN I DONATE MY GENTLY USED GLASSES, SUNGLASSES, OR HEARING AIDS?
We have a 24/7 collection slot at the front of our building on 228 North Holly in Medford. Note: we do not take contacts, cases, or lenses outside of the frames.
IF I ALREADY HAVE A PRESCRIPTION, HOW ARE GLASSES SELECTED FROM THE DATABASE?
Every donated pair of glasses is hand-checked for scratches, missing lenses, broken frames, etc. They are then sanitized and have their prescription identified. When you bring in your prescription, we run the information in our database to find the best possible match for the 8000 pairs we have on site.
WHAT IF I DON'T FIND A PAIR OF GLASSES THAT WORK FOR ME?
We recommend you take home the pair that work the best in case of emergencies, but you can also apply to get a pair of basic frames and lenses with your prescription at no cost to you. If you already have a prescription but didn't find/ didn't want to find a pair here, we recommend Goggles4u.com, which has reasonable prices.
WHAT IF I NEED GLASSES AND HEARING AIDS?
We are happy to assist you with both, but you must apply for either glasses or hearing aids one at a time as we have many applicants in need.
HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM AT 200% THE POVERTY LEVEL?

ARE CHILDREN COVERED FOR GLASSES OR HEARING AIDS?
Children are typically covered under their primary insurance for exams and glasses. However, Southern Oregon Lions is here if these benefits have been exhausted. For hearing aids, we will refer kids to ESD (Education Service District 541-776-8687)
DO YOU COVER PRESCRIPTION SUNGLASSES OR CONTACTS?
Unfortunately, due to limited funds, we only cover basic exams, frames, and lenses.
WHAT IF DON'T HAVE ID?
We need some form of identification to make sure you are who you say you are. Please come with a valid form of ID.
HOW DO I KNOW WHICH PROVIDER WILL ACCEPT MY VOUCHER?
If you are approved for funds, we will mail you a voucher and a list of providers that accept it in Jackson County. You can view this list by clicking here.
DO YOU ACCEPT DONATIONS OF CONTACT LENSES?
We do not accept donations of contact lenses.
