WHAT DOES SOLSHC DO WITH MY DONATED GLASSES?

COLLECT

The Lions collect donated glasses at our location, but also from other locations that put out a donation box for us.

SORT

The pairs in the best condition are sanitized and given out at Community Vision Clinics here in Jackson County.

TEACH

The rest of the glasses are shipped to Coffee Creek Women's Prison through our community partner (thanks Safeway!), where inmates can learn the trade of identifying prescription with a lensometer.

DONATE

Once the glasses are labeled with the correct prescription, they are sent all over to third world countries to be donated to thousands of individuals in need.

Your old glasses can do a WORLD of good! Donate today!
